Anne NGUYEN, a doctoral student in the Nanophotonics group of the Charles Fabry Laboratory of the Institut d'Optique Graduate School, is the winner of the L'Oréal-UNESCO "Prix Jeunes Talents France 2022" for Women in Science.
Anne was awarded for her thesis work in nanophotonics. Her work led to the development of ultra-compact incandescent sources emitting infrared radiation with novel properties. For example, the sources can emit at a particular wavelength, be modulated beyond 10Mz or emit circularly polarised radiation.
