Photonique Non Linéaire

The NonLinear Photonic group (previously Non Linear materials and applications, MANOLIA) study the nonlinear mechanisms in structured materials (photonics crystals, liquid or gas core microstructured fibres and nanofibres), in order to control and enhance nonlinear interactions.

These optimized nonlinear structures allow to develop new applications for all optical processing of information, to realize correlated and entangled photon pairs sources for quantum communication, and new laser sources.
