Abstract: "Fourier transform spectro-imaging is used for airborne and satellite applications. This method is advantageous in terms of signal-to-noise ratio but requires a complex image processing. The objective of our work is to determine the performance limits in spatial and spectral resolution of this method. To do this, we have created a system simulation algorithm consisting of a direct program that generates the snapshot images and an inverse program that recovers the interferograms and inverts them to obtain the hyperspectral cube.
